something to consider with a floor mattress is that you have to lift it every day, otherwise it becomes a health hazard, regular beds are designed to passively breath out all of the dead skin and moisture that builds up inside, if a mattress is directly on the floor, all of that gets trapped and builds up, without regular lifting and beating, fungus and other nasty stuff will grow in your futon

I think keto based fruit is good. At least you won't kick yourself out of ketosis. So berries good, tropical fruit bad. Wondering about grapefruit, lemon/lime, and oranges as vitamin C can be a challenge with the carnivore diet. Grapefruit and lemon/lime are much lower in suger than oranges.

@@g_force3857 LMAO, all materials in a home are produced. The EPA and OSHA have strict guidelines on what materials are allowed to be used in building materials. Look at lead and asbestos, they used to be common materials in every home and now you have to be certified to even remove or disturb them.

@@g_force3857 build your home tight and efficient and make sure you have an air exchanger in your HVAC system. That solves all the problems the fear mongerers keep spouting about. Building sciences have come a long way even in the last 30 years. Use a reputable builder and you'll be fine.

I used to burn anytime I was in the sun. It was crazy. I have a red beard and light body hair. Eating animal based and staying away from seed oils I don’t burn now and don’t use sun block except once in a while natural sink based in Hawaii or the Bahamas if I’m out all day with no breaks.

Great interview. Love Jay feldman. Regarding the calories people used to eat and currently eat is this both for men and women? I would love to know how many calories a typical woman should be eating. For example I am 57 years old and I weigh 150 and I'm trying to lose 10 pounds. Assuming I am eating exactly in this manner that Jay discusses I'm wondering how many calories I would need to eat? And I'm moderately active. I'm 5'4. I realize there are other health factors to consider but just wondering in general for like a guideline if anyone knows.😊

I'm 34 years old and I had leaky gut and a lot of stomach issues. I lost 50 pounds and I drink orange juice and eat blueberries, strawberries, honey, maple syrup, steak, eggs, cheese, and a pint of ice cream a day. Now all of that is grass fed, organic and pasture raised. I also workout but I did that when I was fat too so that part has never changed. Just my diet from the standard American to the energy balance.

I maintain my weight at 65kg (~145lb) eating around 2500-2900 calories depending on activity. Usually eat at least 2500 when inactive. I am however a 27 y/o male! I think that at least 2000 calories is probably necessary, even if you're trying to lose weight (slowly). Maybe you could go lower without sacrificing on nutrients and carbs/protein, but I wouldn't go below 1800. Just guessing here. Would be good to get more experienced people's opinions.

Most people have plenty of energy stored on their body. Short periods without food help tap that fat. Eating all the time will make most people fat. Eating a lot won't as long as you space out your eating window.

Seed oils cause sunburn? I think you have rather a lot of evidence against that to the tune of at least one billion people. In China they consume more seed oils than anyone but they don’t really ever get sunburn. They consider tanning as the ‘worst’ thing that can happen in that respect.

I think so. It wouldn't necessarily be optimal but you don't necessarily need that. If you include foods like eggs and dairy you can still get some good nutrition. Make sure any vegetables you eat are very well cooked and tubers are gonna be better than the vegetables that are seeds, stems or leaves.

By listening the video it seems to me it's because you are leaking energy. it's like the example Jay gave.. you can be eating 100 but being able to use 70 so you store 30. So something is broken / not effective inside you.. so you need to store part of the calories you ingest.. but you feel better because that increase gives the body the (let's say) 65+ it needs to feel good.
